Professor Emeritus Hiroaki Kimura awarded Honorary Doctorate Degree of Architecture from Chiang Mai University

 On January 27th, Emeritus Professor Hiroaki Kimura (former professor of the Faculty of Design & Architecture, former Program Specific Professor of Joint Master’s Degree Program in Architecture) was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Architecture from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindnhorn who presided over the bestowal ceremony of degree certificates of Chiang Mai University for the Academic Year 2019 for his educational activities and achievements as an architect.

 CMU and KIT co-developed the Joint Master’s Degree Program in Architecture in 2017 and Professor Emeritus Kimura, who was in charge of this program development, contributed enormous efforts to this program to cultivate advanced international architects with global competency. The first group of students who joined this program successfully completed the curriculum and obtained their master’s degree in this ceremony.
